Overview
Situation: The client had a legacy PHP application that was slow, hard to maintain, and limited for SEO and scale. They needed a modern stack that could improve performance, search visibility, and developer experience without a risky big-bang rewrite.
Task: Migrate the PHP application to Next.js with minimal business disruption: preserve core functionality, improve page load and SEO, and establish a maintainable React-based architecture the team could extend.
Action: We analyzed the existing architecture and defined a phased migration plan. We moved from PHP to React and Next.js, adopted SSR and SSG where appropriate, refactored data flow and state management, and optimized images and assets. We migrated feature-by-feature, trained the team on the new stack, and monitored performance throughout.
Result: Page load times improved significantly (e.g. up to ~60% on initial load), organic traffic increased with better SEO, and the codebase became modular and easier to maintain. The team gained a modern workflow with TypeScript, hot reload, and a clear path for new features.

- SSR/SSG strategy and implementation
- Component and route structure design
- Data flow and state management refactor
